Gratitude of the day

Today I am grateful to be alive and well, alhamdulillah. To be able to see the lives that I have touched in someway or another. To be able to see my kids grow up and become mature (slowly). To be able to see the leaves fall off from the trees in my favorite season.

Today I am very grateful about not having any allergies. I got my allergy test done and though it hurt (4 pricks), alhamdulillah I'm in good health.

What am I grateful for today?

• screaming kids. I actually mean just kids in general. I know many couples who are unable to conceive the natural way that they had to turn to IVF and insemination. One couple got lucky and had twins, one boy and one girl. The other couple got lucky with twins also but I do not know the outcome because I am not speaking to the girl anymore.
• warm bed. On cold nights when the wind is blowing, all a soul needs is a warm bed and blanket with the feeling of safety and security.
• loving husband. He is my soul mate, literally. He has in him everything I wanted and need. I love him but more than that I LIKE him, ALOT.
• good food. The way to a man's heart is through his belly, same goes for this girl.
• good friends and family. Best stress relievers of all time.
